Client Feedback

'We have covered a lot of ground this past one year - and got to grips with some significant reasons for how I used to think and feel, and therefore behave. It is all quite empowering and makes for much better all -round functioning, hardly any sad times and no despair at all. The help that you have provided was in plain words life changing! All done professionally, and with a warmth and style that will stay in my memory.' LS 'Thank you for caring enough to make a difference. I will always remember you.' C
'I want to thank you for the help you gave me at what was obviously a very traumatic time in my life. I want you to know that I am really glad I came to see you – you very much helped me to hold myself together.' K W
'Just a little note to say thank you, for all you have done for me. I couldn't have done it without you.' E R
'We came to see you when we were having quite a lot of problems. We found the sessions with you very helpful and it set us back on the right course again. …..I think that when we saw you, we had both lost our way, and would more than likely have split up. You helped us both to see more clearly what we had and that it was worth working at.' S & F H
'We are still feeling our way a little, but we wouldn't have come so far so fast without your calm, listening ear'. G & A W

A client recently likened her therapy to the Japanese art of kintsugi where precious broken pots are repaired with glue and the scars are highlighted with gold. The scars tell of survival and that a repaired pot is still valued, usable and often stronger.

'I have the resources to create a wonderful, golden glue, carefully, exquisitely, perfectly restoring. Creating something new; still the same but with wonderful bright scars. Joining pieces together, providing interest, wonder and strength. This strength runs through, in between and all around, the pieces supported, fortified and held together. As my counsellor works alongside me, I discover the recipe for my golden glue. I am the creator.' L M
